Drinking Related Behaviors
This chart outlines common behaviors students engage in when drinking. In some cases, these behaviors are protective in nature, such as eating before and during drinking, while others are potentially harmful, such as chugging alcohol or doing shots.
Of Note:
- As a whole, students avoid driving or letting a friend drive when consuming alcohol.
- The vast majority of students eat before and/or during drinking.
- Nearly all students know where their drink is at all times.
- More than 7 in 10 students always or usually keep track of how many drinks they have had.
